No loyalty to employees - bad management

Pros

Great scenery at work, tips are decent, fun job, happy members (mostly).

Cons

No employee loyalty whatsoever. If you get along with your manager, you're good. If not, you're done. Doesn't matter how long you've worked there, or how trivial the problem is.

Terrible Corporate Policies, Management is a Disaster

After 3 months of employment you can use boats if available

Cons

Dock Masters make $10 an hour and are limited by corporate policy to 2-3 shifts a week while doing physical work in the heat and humidity. This job doesn't pay a living wage and the company doesn't take care of the employees that are willing to stay under those working conditions by giving them a reasonable number of shifts. The management of AMI is a disaster, is blatantly disrespectful of hardworking staff and is lazy. Clearly out of their element. I lasted only a couple of weeks under these circumstances that are created at the top and trickle down to the day-to-day managers that are under equipped to manage.
