Dysfunctional at best.

Pros

With turnover at 48% there is always the chance of being promoted. Vacation time is generous but you will be punished for taking it. If you can succeed in a dysfunctional, stress filled environment then you can succeed anywhere. Micro management will help you in your future endeavors because you thought twice before your "new boss" thought once. Working here is better than welfare.

Cons

Lack of leadership and vision where incompetence reigns supreme. You will be kicked to the curb for bruising your boss's ego. No matter how hard you work and what goals you achieve, in the end it really won't matter - (The company broke a record for money earned in a month and upper management was chewed out in the staff meeting??) You will be expected to hit deadlines that are unrealistic and unattainable but since greed is good, the company will take the job anyway. You will NOT receive a pay raise no matter how well you perform. 6 to 20 cents a year is good if you can even negotiate that. If you are going to make someone rich at your own expense than this it not the place you want to do it. Ownership/ Upper management is not likeable.

Pros

Lot's of company picnics and food but not what i am working for, save the money on the lunch and give your employee's better pay. 1 week off for Christmas was a plus but they decided to do away with that perk.

Cons

WAY to many cons to list to be honest. I was employed with Frame USA for 6 years and in the beginning it was a decent company to work for but that changed the moment the owner's daughter became COO. She is impossible to get along with and treats and talks to employee's horrible and gets away with it because her father is the CEO. I reported to the HR Manager the way i was treated and talked to by the COO and next thing i know i am in a meeting with HR and COO being written up. The COO does not just stick to operations management she often has her foot in everyone else's departments and she micro manages in the worst way possible, often making projects more complicated than they have to be. The turnover at Frame USA is the worst i have ever seen. The only way i can describe they way this company operates is - Chaos. The owner & CEO can be a nice guy but beware, if something in his personal life bad happens he takes it out on his employee's. He is erratic and changes his mind about projects in the middle of them. During Christmas they run a charity that takes up all of your time (the charity is great) but when you cannot finish the work that you are supposed to be doing because of the charity, you will be in trouble. The COO will use any excuse to write you up and punish you, she has NO experience in managing people and it shows. All the employee's i worked with that quit or left was because of her.

Pros

Benefits are good, some nice company events and parties, wonderful charity efforts you can be a part of during the holidays, and worked with some great co-workers.

Cons

Where do I even start? Unrealistic sales goals, disorganized (at best) management, the management is cheap and very unwilling to invest in marketing opportunities that would greatly help the company, there is complete unwillingness to take risks. You get a decent package for vacation and sick time but you will be punished for using it more often than not. I've seen good employees that in general do not abuse their time off be written up for various legitimate excuses for missing work (sick child, horrible weather/snow, car accident), there really just isn't much sympathy from the management. To top this all off, this company has the worst turnover of any company I've ever worked at. You are always training someone new, but more than likely they will be out the door again within a few months either because they hired someone incompetent (again) or this person is smart enough to realize they need to move on to a better company. Pretty much everyone that works upstairs reports to the owner's daughter, and let's be real - this is the main cause of the turnover. Very disrespectful of those under her, passive aggressive, and she'll play games with you to get what she wants. No one I've spoken to who worked under her has ever had a very positive opinion.
