On my first day at the company, they made me sign another contract telling me that I will have to pay them $18,000 if I leave the company before two years which is against the law They only look to make money No advantage Salaries below average in Chicago area

We would like to clarify some of the things mentioned: - The salaries we offer are highly competitive, not only within the IT industry, but in general. - We bring talented developers to join first-class teams. Our company processes their visas and provide them with housing and transportation upon arrival. All our procedures are in line with existing laws. - We have an excellent deal on insurance that provides many benefits for a low price. Forte Group covers 50% of the cost from the very first day and we include life and dental insurance. - We have an open door policy where everybody is welcome to provide suggestions and feedback. Pros

Filed for H1B, provided housing when came to us.

Cons

When I came to US, did not pay salary until find a project for me, in case of disagree with something frightened to revoke visa, low salary, payed only 50% of insurence.

We don't have a record of unpaid salaries or any delays due to company negligence. - We bring talented developers to join first-class teams. We process their visas and provide them with housing and transportation upon arrival. We never have and never would threat to revoke the visa of our international employees. All our procedures are in line with existing laws. - We have an excellent deal on insurance that provides many benefits for a low price. We cover 50% of the cost from the very first day and we include life and dental insurance. - We have an open door policy where everybody is welcome to provide suggestions and feedback.

Pros

H1b Visa sponsorship 2 weeks PTO some accommodation on arrival to the US ( will be deducted from later paycheck)

Cons

As a body shopping company, they sell developers as contractors. People will always work on client side on short-term or long-term depends on luck. Bench time is unpaid. Compensation is below market value, It's impossible to save any money with this company. They do not increase salary but offer loans. (remember you have to pay it back if you got real money) Be aware what you sign and transfer your visa to a big tech company as soon as you reached the US soil. Future GreenCard sponsorship is another candy to keep employees. Do not trust them. Threaten employees when people leaving the company and use scare tactics.

Indeed, a part of our business is staff augmentation where we have our employees placed on our clients' sites temporary, but there is a variety of other opportunities at Forte Group. Apart from providing consulting services to our customers, we also develop custom solutions for our clients as well as our own products. As for the compensation value, we conduct continuous market evaluation. The compensation at Forte Group is in accordance with the industry level and the position of an employee. Bench time is paid. If there are any technical miscalculations in the paycheck, we are more than happy to review the situation and resolve it immediately. There is no connection between loans and the salary raise. Salary increase is linked to work achievements that are tracked during continuous performance reviews. The purpose of the loan is to support an employee who needs additional help in the case of personal emergency or any other unexpected situations that require unforeseen expenses. Forte Group provides Green Card sponsorship for those employees who continue to excel in their roles. Additionally, we would like to point out that we have sponsored more than 60 Green Cards for our employees so far. We were very upset to read the last statement that could be misleading. Forte Group cares about its employees, maintains professional communication and follows business rules. We are doing our best to support our people and, no doubt, respect their career decisions.
