Pros

A lot of the people I met and worked with were genuine and wanted to do the best job they could. A lot of cool technology

Cons

Upper management preoccupied with their own careers instead of those they were put in charge of. The only time you usually got attention is if you screwed up or they needed a favor from you. Want to see a change or an improvement? Chances are that you will be told no and will be given a half baked excuse why it can't be done. Salaried workers get no overtime perks. You could work over 60 hours a week and get nothing out of it. Wages are low. I'm sure they work great for where the HQ is but they don't work everywhere but they pay the same no matter where you live. Management has favorites. There were coworkers that you would have no clue how they still worked there. Had one Job Supervisor that was a nightmare for everyone he worked with. He was constantly being reported for harassment and other issues but he still had a job.

Pros

° Money is decent ° cool people you work with ° travel if you're into that (expect to get homesick though)

Cons

° For project engineer in training (PEIT) theyres 3 phases 1. Install phase 2. Field engineerimg phase 3. Project engineering phase You'll definitely be on install.phase for more than 6 months expect a year unless the division you're working for is in dire need of project engineers. The company always does what's best for them so if they're short on install technicians than you'll be helping install. If the company says they got a lot of work remember that all this WORK needs to go through install phase before any testing or engineering work can be done on it. If you don't have a passion for audio and video systems DO NOT work here and waste your talents just cause it's the first job that offers you it. Expect to kiss buttocks a lot if you wanna move up. Work environment can be toxic , and stressful for the pay. Not worth it. Once you make it pass install phase though, the work shifts around to a more chill work environment. But before that happens make sure you have your steel toe boots , tools , hard hat, safety glasses and gloves ready, that you will have to pay for. Again don't work here if you expect to get networking experience. It's very minimal and you won't get hands on engineering until a year later so save yourself time and look elsewhere or else you'll.be stuck in an unmotivated loop with no skillsets to take with you and land a better job.
