Pros

Don't always work full 40 hour weeks, but get paid full time anyways. Room for growth. Great management. Great benefits.

Cons

Lots of driving. Your days vary in times (e.g. some days start at 5:00 AM and end t 12:00PM, or 6:00AM-6:00PM, or 10:00AM-2:00PM). it varies everyday, and you don't know until the day before.

Pros

ForTec is a truly wonderful company. The owner, CEO, all of the senior leadership are wonderful. They are down to earth and allow everyone to feel like they are the best part of the company. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We all work together as a team and even though the company is spread out across the country, there are many ways that we work to bring everyone together. I come to work most days with a smile on my face and am happy to see my "friends" and collaborate on the best way to deliver high quality care to patients. There is definitely an understanding at ForTec that the ultimate goal is to deliver the best care, the best technology, to the patients and that is what everyone works towards.

Cons

I know that a lot of employees in remote locations feel disconnected to HQ and that is unfortunately a logistics issue. Although, there are several programs in place and being developed to make sure that everyone knows they are just as valuable as those that work at HQ.

Pros

Small, family-owned company. Relative freedom as a laser tech. Wear scrubs to work. Drive a laser van and push a heavy laser around hospitals.

Cons

Terrible pay. Zero advancement opportunities. Salespeople know less about the lasers and procedures than the techs, but are paid much better. Long, boring days either waiting for hospitals to catch up, or driving to BFE.
