Pros

There were a couple of fun colleagues

Cons

The fact that there was a coordinated push to try to improve the reviews on the 30th of January is a big red flag in and of itself. Creating false coordinated reviews in order to try to hide and brush off valid criticism shows quite a lot about the culture of the company. The company lacks the ability to execute on the technical front due to significant and continuous changes in the tech department. The product exhibits a significant number of functional defects and lacks a clear purpose. The managers appear to lack a cohesive vision for the company and instead of safeguarding their team members, engage in passive-aggressive micromanagement and intimidation tactics. As a result, numerous colleagues suffered from burnout and were subjected to mistreatment. The work environment is toxic, which shows in the high level of employee turnover. The employees are under considerable stress without meaningful direction or support in all departments. In light of these circumstances, I strongly advise individuals to avoid association with this company.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback! We are truly sorry that you had such a negative experience while working at Flowbox, we will definitely take it into consideration and address the problem. If you would like to share more information or have some questions answered, please don't hesitate to reach out to the HR based in Stockholm. Regarding the comment about reviews: at the end of January we asked all employees to voluntarily leave their objective reviews at Glassdoor and some of them did (some didn't). Under no circumstances we would ask employees to deliberately leave good reviews, though we understand it might look like that.

Pros

The people who do not hold a managerial title are great.

Cons

The company culture is very unhealthy and they will pay you as little as they can get away with. Management micro-manages, ramps up the pressure, doesn't want to listen to improvement suggestions and will try to get rid of anyone who dares to try and speak up to get them to listen.

Pros

Cool office space and you get a hoodie.

Cons

This is my experience after 4 weeks on the job. When I started I was immiediately thrown into a onboarding schedule where the amount of information pushed into your head was about three times as much in half the time of a normal onboarding on any other company I've worked for. The onboarding in question consists of a series of shorter films which covers a handful of specific topics that may or may not be of any use to you in the beginning of your training. In parallell with this theoretical training you are supposed to shadow meetings where the topics covered in these meetings usually don't fall in line with what you have just watched on the films. If your role covers onboarding clients, then you are not given a comprehensive onboarding yourself as if you were a client or any onboarding of the platform to speak of. This is in my opinion essential if you are going to onboard customers in turn. Asking questions is promoted, however, when and if you are asking questions you feel dumb and more of a burden to your colleagues than a possible asset. This is if you even have time to reflect on what you have just learned and formulate relevant questions to ask your colleagues. After three weeks you are supposed to present a onboarding routine in which you have had no formal training in and from these evaluations you are then either discarded or not. This after the fact that the management has explicitly stated that they don't expect you to perform on the level as your colleagues are at who have more than 1-2 years on the job.
