Pros

71 year history, strong focus on artistic excellence, strategic alliances with peforming arts centers in Miami and Furt Lauderdale.

Cons

The CEO has been in place for 25 years, about 5 to 10 years too long; the Board has absolutely no backbone; after six or more years of operating losses the financial position is precarious and the Board has done nothing substantive to address it, letting the CEO continue, year after year, to run the company into the ground.

Pros

Free tickets, generous vacation days, being able to be a part of Miami's art culture.

Cons

LOTS of backstabbing, gossiping, unpredictable market shifts (one day they will have $, and another they won't), barely any age diversity.
