      Good perks overshadowed by a toxic work culture

      Pros

      General tech industry perks of long weekends, half days on Fridays during the summer and decent number of vacation days and personal days throughout the year.

      Cons

      Work culture is very corporate, everyone puts on a happy and friendly face out and about but during 1:1s you discover just how toxic behaviors can get. There's a high degree of closeted blame culture, an obsession with seniority and creating hierarchies in organizational structure. Feels like looking good is more valued than working good.

      - The exec team is always trying to be as transparent as possible, sharing information and numbers as well as projections for the quarter and year that are updated every other week based on new events/contracts; - A grace place to improve your career with both, internal opportunities to move around teams as well as improve your knowledge with the growth program that encourages employees to learn new things and have some empowerment, ownership and leadership experience by choosing small goals/projects you want to work on; - Great culture and benefits

      Cons

      - As in many startups in the GTA area, competition out there is hard and we're constantly loosing great team members - Not 100% flexible when it comes to work from home yet
