Pros

As a startup, there is little leaning which an employee gets

Cons

1. No professionalism 2. No motivation to employee. 3. Higher management is there to abuse their power. Acoording to them as they are at higher Position , they have the right to abuse that. 4. For them work from home mean employee have to work min 12 hours. Work life balance is zero 5. According to higher management best way to get work done is that scare employees for their job. 6. No one cares about employees at lower level. Complete dictator ship is there 7. No one cares about employees personal life They can call you even at 11 pm at night. No policies, no mgmt. Managment favours only their loved one. They have no knowledge what employee satisfaction means I read some one wrote in earlier comments that don't treat your employees at slaves. That's exactly what is my advice too

Pros

Some good seniors who genuinely try to help you out.

Cons

Pathetic management: A single manager would manage a huge number of employees making a huge communication gap. So, you are likely to be misunderstood 99% of the time and your manager will not bother to sit down and have a conversation with you before reaching any conclusion. Trashy Organization: Tasks are prioritized and de-prioritised out of the blue. You will not be given enough orientation/KT before jumping into any task, but you will be magically expected to know it from A to Z. If your life's purpose is to become a magician then I'd highly recommend this place. Extreme politics: This place has been trying to save some incompetent, inexperienced and underqualified higher-level employees (eg: VP of Engineering, Team Lead, etc) in the name of politics and a fake "hard worker" persona. While all they do is ride on the back of some "lower-level" employees to get their work done and take credits for it. But, they don't flinch a muscle before throwing the same "lower-level" employees under the bus, just to save their reputation. Bad work-life balance: In the name of "flexible work hours" they intend to extend your work hours everyday, even late into the night and for extended hours throughout the day. You will find some people taking pride in this, good for them. Working on weekends is an unsaid staple here. If you don't have a life outside work, then you wouldn't have a problem. Namesake HRs: To be honest, the HRs in there are just an eyewash. They don't care about an employee's well-being. They are basically puppets of the higher management who tell them EXACTLY what to do. So, if you are good at buttering up your reporting manager, you are good to go. Employee clones only: The people here will expect you to be a certain way and will only accept you if you fit into their definition of an "ideal employee",i.e, work late hours, agree with everything that your seniors or higher management say, always be available to answer work calls even on your leave days, feel guilty to even take sick leaves, go on vacations only if you take your laptop along despite applying for leaves, and so on. If you have an individuality or difference of opinions then you will be made to feel like an imposter. You basically need to be thinking about work all the time. Overall working in this place has been nothing but traumatising. I have no clue who gave them the "best place to work" title. It's Probably bought.

Pros

New Learnings daily. Being a start up you get to know many new things

Cons

Lots of Politics The Seniors are involved in Politics and support their own people. No Work Ethics Absoluely unethical practices being done and the Top management is aware about it still no action is taken HIRE and FIRE They are not willing to listen anything, neither to build anybody's career.Only destroy each other's career and growth opportunities. No Role of HR HR tries to play some stupid games during Monthly Zoomcall which again no one wants to play.Any support or help cannot be expected from them. They are just to fire people.
