Upper management is incompetent, does not know what is going on, ever... Completely unaware of their own infrastructure, and do not value the talent they have at hand. No room for career growth and will actively make changes to job titles and responsibilities without notice or negotiation to the employees. There is no sense of responsibility at the higher echelons of management within IT, they expect immediate results and do not listen the subject matter experts and their concerns and thoughts on projects, when things go wrong they will find someone on the team to blame and shame. They lack integrity and a sense of responsibility overall causing a atmosphere where growth and change are restricted.
