Pros

- Remote friendly - Some smart peers - Finally hired a CTO - A few smart managers (with not enough power)

Cons

- Management is incompetent - Engineering processes are terrible (Fake Architects) - Engineers are treated as a cost center - Dishonest managers - High Turnover - Diversity hires are unfireable - Bad talent is unfireable - Idiots FAR outnumber talent - No Business Analysts (Most are clueless as to the reason they exist)

Pros

I work in a great office and genuinely love working with my immediate coworkers

Cons

The corporation as a whole is just so aggravating. A bunch of higher ups (who have no clue how to do your job) telling you that you should be closing more and doing more (despite the market being absolute trash at the current moment) THEY DO NOT GIVE COST OF LIVING RAISES. With inflation out of control, they expect you to survive off of the small salary you had when you started in 2016.

Pros

With the intense ambiguity surrounding basically everything, low expectations, and complete lack of professional goal setting/development, it's a pretty easy company to skate by as long as you don't get caught in their annual layoffs.

Cons

You have no idea who is doing what or who is accountable for what. Job titles mean nothing, senior management appears to be giddy about their teams wasting time/money in silos, and reporting/data is the furthest from concern when making decisions, prioritizing, or, well, anything. You will constantly feel like you are an outsider, leaving in a Twilight Zone at this company.
