      Some good and smart people at the company Pay/compensation is decent Remote work allowed Pretty good work life balance

      Silent layoffs happen often Managers can have an ego - tendency to micromanage engineers There's a movement to offshore positions. The majority of the team I was on operated from India - and there's a clear pattern at First American of the leadership chain consisting of workers of that ethnicity, and favoritism being shown towards those workers, particularly those who were offshore
