Pros

The Guitar R&D team is a talented and wonderful group to be apart of. The product is exciting to work on and the company dynamics are always different. Having health benefits offered is a plus and 401k matching is great. Direct management support in the Guitar R&D department outweighs other departments and is encouraging. The company is continuously looking for improvements and ways to increase marginal profits. Overall Fender is a great place to work and is a great opportunity for anyone interested.

Cons

Low compensation for new employees and promoted positions. Management restructures often. Culture disconnect between corporate offices and manufacturing facilities. No bonuses other than upper corporate management.

Pros

Great People, comfortable work environment, flexible hours and schedule. Work life balance is good in most positions. If you love rock and roll, and aren't concerned with progressing your career, this is a great place to work.

Cons

Pay is not very good, and limited growth potential for your career.
