Losing their way

Pros

Feeld offers good pay and benefits, the non-management people are lovely and some of the greatest most progressive people I've worked with (but they are being replaced by cheaper outsourced workers quickly).

Cons

In the last year or so Feeld got a completely new management team (other than the CEO), all of which are white middle-age straight men, which is strange for a progressive queer-focussed sex-positive app like Feeld. This new management team also comes from big corporations, and it shows. Feeld is rapidly loosing all their humanity and values, instead focussing on whatever conventional companies do to make as much money as possible. Shortly, Feeld has their values, until they come in the way of their goals. And their goals are now making money above everything else.

Pros

They used to pay well. That's going away too.

Cons

Unethical management that does not run on principles but on whims. They're making money for the industry they're in, otherwise, they don't know a thing about business. The company is run on a personal agenda. The entire management makes your life difficult by not knowing how to do their job of setting goals and designing projects that lead to actual progress. It is understandable that the management (just like everyone else) is in the company to fill their pockets and leave. The fake 'positivity' spread throughout the company and outside is their way of guarding their delusional ways. The HR and Ops teams were the worst professionals I ever encountered in my decade's worth of experience. They can ask you to leave any day, sack your ESOPs (which is a joke) and even use employees as scapegoats for their unethical ways of handling customer data. It is risky, be careful. I know of at least 8-9 people who were just asked to leave one fine day.

Pros

None. Less than zero. Period.

Cons

Why are you still working there then? Because it's remote. It's remote. Feeld desperately grasp at fads, whilst flying under the banner of 'doing good' when they really mean 'make lots of money'. It's a con. This 'Queer Inclusive Female Led' company is actually run by a board Patriarchal White, CiS, Het 'Bro's', whilst 'Our Dear Leader' is nothing more than a figurehead that occasionally dips her toes in when she needs keep herself busy in between her press appearances and 'Saving the World'. Spare me this sanctimonious *****
