Wow, so many I could share including detrimental office politics, nepotism, lack of vision, poor leadership, and more, but I'll focus on the $$.
SERIOUS lack of compensation. They do not reward hard work, do not reward loyalty, do not reward integrity. They count on you to be comfortable and lazy enough not to apply elsewhere and not to know your own worth. Every single employee could be making 20-50% more if they found new jobs. New hires are offered higher salaries than current employees.
Stingy with bonuses and budgets. ***Raises and promotions do not exist.*** Management gives the same answers year after year: "Let's revisit this 'after your review'... 'after the budget comes out'... 'after you prove yourself to us'..." These excuses devalue the loyalty, expertise, and effort employees put in to keep the ship afloat.
The movie business is hanging by a thread, and Fathom has not shown the necessary innovation to stay relevant. They skate by on one or two successful events per year and do not reward their employees alongside their overall business successes. The best financial years in Fathom history saw little very little gain for employees.
Any positive review listed on Glassdoor has come from temp workers who did not see the full picture or have come directly from leadership/HR themselves.
