      Great learning opportunities but challenging upper management

      Pros

      You get to work with coffee, learn a lot, meet a lot of amazing people.

      Cons

      There have also been moments that make you question fairness and inclusivity from upper management. At times it feels like certain voices are not heard or valued the same, which creates a really uncomfortable environment. Overall, there needs to be more accountability, better communication, and a genuine commitment to supporting all employees equally.

We champion local brands and celebrate the people behind them. If you're looking for a place where you can make an impact and develop your skills, FairWave is a fantastic choice.

      Pros

      Decent benefits for full-time cafe employees, including PTO, employee discounts, and holiday pay.

      Cons

      Upper management has little respect for employees and is generally not concerned about quality of products or employee satisfaction. Profit seems to be the main motivator, and they will do whatever is necessary to cut corners. It is also nearly impossible to get any response from management despite numerous emails, texts and phone calls.
