After the CEO hired what they thought was a "big wig" from a pharmaceutical company, everything went downhill from there, the culture of the company changed dramatically, and the wrong people were in team leadership roles. People who were all talk and bluster (had a big mouth and liked to boast) and who had no business being in charge of others were calling the shots, treating employees badly and disrespectfully. One could see money flying out the door as poor decision making went on and on. The poor treatment of so many employees became so bad I could no longer tolerate it, every few weeks somebody else was getting fired for no good reason. Employees had to rate one another on a regular basis for performance reviews and they did so mercilessly in an environment when jobs were being cut. Too many good employees got hurt, it was a brutal place in the end. It is the type of work one may want to take on being straight out of school for a short while to get some experience, and then leave, because experience didn't count much when it came to salary.
