Pros

Free coffee, flexible schedule, walking distance to Target

Cons

This used to be a decent place to work. Coming from large institutions, the company was innovative yet cozy. That was less than a year ago. Since then, the atmosphere of the employees has visibly shifted, and morale is at an all-time low. Management, once encouraging to explore and think outside of the box, is now only concerned with dollar signs and "pushing through timelines". The opinions of employees are met with condescension, and sometimes even profanity. We are expected to be workhorses, but then show our gratitude for "all the things the company does for us." The benefits are sub-par, there is no room for advancement, and anyone less than a manager is treated like a whiny child. We have lost a number of fantastic people in the past 6 months due to a lack of respect from management, as well as a general lack of qualified individuals in those management positions. The culture has evolved from laid-back but hard-working to back-stabbing and "tattling", and people are seemingly being rewarded for doing a poor job, while the good workers are running away as fast as they can.

Pros

Free Coffee and snacks. Not many pros from a career standpoint.

Cons

Over the past year Flagship has had a significant decrease in the quality of its working environment. If you are a motivated, goal oriented employee with a strong work ethic and a desire to advance your career then Flagship Biosciences is NOT the place for you. Flagship has lost any sense of organization in career paths for its employees and seems to be far more concerned about the next big project they can profit off of rather than creating a positive working environment. The most disheartening characteristic of Flagship is its ability to take extremely motivate and intelligent employees and break them by not providing fair compensation, long term career paths, and a sense of ownership/pride in individual’s work. I have seen very intelligent and hardworking employees lose motivation and drive to be successful after being compensated for their hard work with extremely meager salaries and an overall lack in appreciation for the value they provide to the company.

Pros

Not a lot of other options in Denver. Used to be some super people here, But good people keep leaving every month.Image analysis is cutting edge. Great working with pathologists.

Cons

Toxic environment because of the current person running operations at the top. young kid with no experience who is overpromoted, his toxicity makes everyone below him treat others the same.
