Pros

There are many types of leaves/holidays and the company has fewer projects lately, so less work.

Cons

1- The compensation and bonus policies are bad - talented and hardworking people are underpaid and then they are also denied part of the bonus due to recent policy changes. 2-No new projects are coming as the AI model is flawed. I advise job seekers to avoid this company, avoid the heartbreak and look for a company that respects talented scientists and especially its founder. They have recently fired the founder CEO. 3-Most of the founding members have left the sinking boat for a reason. 4-Career progression and development is a major concern for many. Flawed model leading to discontent among many.

Pros

Exscientia is an extremely exciting company to be a part of. I joined the business in 2020 and have enjoyed working there ever since. The people are fantastic - they are all incredibly bright but are also down to earth and humble. The technology and science behind the business is so exciting and when you work here you get this feeling that you are a part of something big!

Cons

Not necessarily a con but you need to be prepared and be open to change if you work at Exscientia. It is rapidly scaling from a start-up to a fully fledged biotech and like any scaling company there are always growing pains!
