Pros

Used to be a good company until Presidents family joined company. When it was smaller it was run more efficiently, they have grown to big for themselves and struggle to manage the company.

Cons

Be cautious of a company that pretends to be so many things to employees and customers but does not practice it. Keeping promises and following integrity was not followed as promised.

Pros

I really enjoy the privately-owned, smaller company feel of Experitec. My previous employer was a very large company where I felt like I was “just a number.” At Experitec, my contributions are known and visible by everyone including the President, Larry Tietjen, from whom I’ve received personal notes of recognition on several occasions. There’s plenty of room for growth even if it’s not moving into a management position. In the four years I’ve been with the company, I’ve significantly expanded my role and responsibilities, which twice has resulted in a title change and promotion. Besides professional growth and support, Experitec truly cares about employee wellbeing. I recently lost an immediate family member and my manager and everyone at Experitec supported me in every way they could from giving me the time off I needed, attending the funeral and through numerous employees sending their condolences and even sending donations to the charity of my family’s choice. Of course, there are tough days too and not everything is perfect, but I can confidently say there’s no place I’d rather be than Experitec.

Cons

Because Experitec is a smaller company, one thing that can be challenging at times is having to wear multiple hats. You may find yourself doing tasks and activities that would be traditionally outside of your job description. However, I think this also allows for growth opportunities and results in being challenged instead of becoming stagnant in your role.

Trusts, Cares, and Values Employees

Pros

When I think about Experitec, I think about the feeling that it has. The feeling of trust, openness, and happiness. My spouse rarely has good things to say about his job or his employer and I cannot relate because I enjoy going to work every day. I'm so lucky to have found a home here. We are not all perfect, but Experitec tries hard to make sure the employees are happy and feel valued. In so many cases, Experitec still uses the "honor system" because they truly trust and care for their employees. We are a professional company without all of the stuffiness because maintaining a great work culture is important to them and you can tell they work at it. We have company breakfasts and meetings with someone cracking a joke and everyone laughing - it's a comfortable place to be. I've been given opportunities I didn't expect because I work hard and people noticed. Being noticed for your efforts is a really great feeling. I'm a name, not a number, and I know that with confidence. I work for a company that trusts, cares, and values their employees and I’m proud to be an Experitec employee.

Cons

Sure, we have our workload strain from time to time like any high performing company with high performing employees, but my Manager is always talking to me about it and making sure I have my work and personal life in balance and asking, "How can I help".
