Pros

Nice PTO, if they allow you to use it. Co-workers. Holiday parties. Travel, again if you can.

Cons

It’s pretty obvious what the issue is when nearly entire teams quit under one or two managers. When people quit, replacements are not found fast enough. Other people are forced to take on work with little management support. Managment constantly “working from home” or on vacation while other associates take on heavy workloads. Too worried about “Happy Hours” and raising morale. If you raise salaries and raise management expectations...maybe turnover wouldn’t be so high.

Pros

-Great work life balance -The lower level staff are superb, dedicated, hardworking

Cons

-The compensation is not remotely comparable and room to increase is marginal -If you're in the inner circle, you're golden...if not.... -The motto is first take good care of each other, this is not seen nor felt through the organization

Pros

People at the company are great, even if they aren't empowered to help employees

Cons

-Workload is very heavy. You are told you'll only be on a certain number of accounts when you start, then that number steadily increases. More work, no more pay. -Very low salary. You see the commission they are bringing in on the accounts, and it's ridiculous how little you make compared to the commission they get. -Completely outdated technology. When I started here, I was excited to see what the top 3rd party planning company in the US has in the way for event technology. Answer - nothing spectacular. When you suggest new ways of doing things, new processes to their outdated approach, you get the 'this is the way we've always done it' response.
