      Easy to make difference ,some great people

      Cons

      Management is all about reducing cost in the short term. Very threatening management style all about what you have done wrong this week. Good employees get stretched and pulled about the business. Very high turnover at middle manager level.

      1. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..... 2. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... 3. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... 4. Honestly stumped.

      Cons

      - low/no pay - 6 weeks in and haven’t been paid for first 2 days as well as been still on 48p a parcel despite been told at least 65p in the interview. - couple hours unpaid every morning travelling to/from depot and sorting parcels - long exhausting days (especially in the heat) - scanner system that works 5/10 times - leading to wasted journeys that they won’t compensate for - 5 day delay every-time you contact Hermes to hear back from them

      Big Company Small Minded

      Pros

      Head-Office is extremely well run. It has a great atmosphere and there are opportunities to progress. There are so absolute stars in their workforce.

      Cons

      The Customer Services department. Run by Management dinosaurs. They treat staff so badly, shouting down the office at them, making them embarrassed. Due to this staff don't want to step up. They promote the wrong type of managers and the cycle continues to degrade. People are promoted because the management like them, not because they're good.
