Pros

You get to work on your own, be your own boss, so long as you can stick to the script.

Cons

I was a manager at their new location in Indianapolis, which is owned by the same people that own South Bend, IN location. I was promised full benefits, big commissions, and room for growth as a canvassing manager. The job is basically being a door to door knocker while managing other door to door knockers. I felt very unethical in what I was told to tell homeowners. I spent the next 3-4 months driving people around in my own car (without business vehicle insurance, so any injury was uncovered by my own auto insurance). I was promised a company vehicle to drive that never arrived. The promised "full benefits" that are still being advertised in job listings for this company were denied to all employees immediately after I started. I had one of my employees mauled by a homeowner's dog and sent to the hospital in Beech Grove, IN. He was a lifelong salesman taking the job as a temp position. His sales career is probably over, and nobody but me bothered to visited him, call him, or even text him to see how he was. This is disturbing considering the office/sales staff is only 10 people, including the owners. One week later, I resigned, and was immediately threatened over SMS and told I would be put under "investigation". You will work weekends, Christmas Eve, the Friday after Thanksgiving, and will basically go around without getting any permits to solicit trying to dodge the police while dealing with angry homeowners who don't want to be bothered. Other management here is also rude. You feel more like a number on a sheet, rather than a person.

Pros

Friendly office staff and fellow sales staff. Not

Cons

This is a revolving door. I was told about many groups of sales rep training classes that were fired or quit during class or just after completion. None of the class that came after or before the group that I was in made it beyond one week out of training. Very disorganized, rude, and unprofessional sales management. Huge amount of driving. Sixty plus hours week. Six day week. Poor training. Must buy hundreds of dollars in tools for job. Very pricy sale. One call close for a 14000 to 24000 sale. Competition is a third less.
