Pros

I’ve had a really positive experience at EventMobi so far. The flexibility is great and there’s no micromanaging — leadership really trusts you to do your work. Being fully remote and working with a diverse team is a big plus, and I’ve learned a lot since joining. Time off is easy to request, and the year-end shutdown is an amazing perk.

Cons

Because the team is distributed globally, it can be challenging to connect with everyone face-to-face, but I’m hopeful there will be more chances for in-person meetups moving forward.

Career growth & upskilling: There is strong support for professional development, especially in emerging areas like AI. The company actively encourages learning to stay current in a rapidly changing tech landscape. Meaningful impact: Individual contributions matter. Work is visible across the company, shared with leadership, and often recognized with kudos. Remote flexibility: Fully remote work with flexibility around hours and time off makes it easier to balance personal and professional life. Clear priorities during busy periods: When things get intense, leadership makes priorities explicit so teams know where to focus.

Cons

Fast pace isn’t for everyone: Leadership often works long hours, and at times this can extend to the team—fairly common in tech, especially if you’re ambitious and looking to grow quickly. Decision-making can feel top-down: At times, leadership can feel strongly set on a particular direction, which can make it challenging to introduce alternative perspectives.
