Owners and senior managers are highly critical, at times to the point of name-calling and verbal abuse. High turnover in key positions due to understaffing and burnout, frustration with ownership/upper management.
Compensation for managers could be viewed as competetive until you realize many of them work well over 60 hours per week, at times unable to take a single day off for 2-3 weeks during peak season. Salaried employees are exploited in this way often here.
Only benefit is healthcare, and it is pricey. 5 days paid vacation, does not roll over and you'll never get to actually use it anyway. No retirement savings plan, no other perks.
