Pros

Nice people, cool office space, good designer scheduling system/management -- allows designers to end their days at 8 hours which is uncommon at an agency.

Cons

Low salaries, no growth opportunities, toxic people in leadership positions, non-existent culture.

Pros

Everyone your level is nice and like minded

Cons

Awful pay and no room to grow, get promoted or even be allowed a mistake. Was given a warning within 6 weeks of working there as everything I had been taught at previous jobs was deemed "incorrect", even though it was the industry standard.

Pros

Generally the team (those who do the donkey-work) are nice. Lots of talented people with diverse skills (although talent is often wasted). Studio space is nice and office culture events are quite good. Work/life balance has gradually improved now the US has finally grasped that the UK is in a different time zone!

Cons

Absolutely tone-deaf… Pay and pay rises are far from competitive, bonuses are non-existent and yet they like to brag to us how well the company has done each year?! The team is not diverse, senior management is toxic, don’t listen and favouritism is clear for all to see. The decent work is given to the senior managements 3 or 4 favourites and it’s the same people taking credit for other peoples hard work, while the rest of us are stuck doing the monotonous tasks. The Propelis takeover has been nothing short of shambolic, no direction, no communication and nothing seems to work properly. If you raise a concern you’re seen as an inconvenience snd treated as such. Equator has well and truly lost its voice and they just don’t seem to care about the consequences.
