They paid me what I asked for.

Cons

They have no ethics. They care more about what the Insurance Company wants them to say then what is technically or ethically correct. It felt dirty to work here, knowing that your impact on the community was making it worse instead of making it better.

In all honesty, none! I really do not have anything good to say.

Cons

Unorganized, unprofessional and unethical. From HR to payroll, to senior operations and the technical management every department fails at the very basics of their job. There are no promises kept and very little commitment to growth. Fundamentals of basic decency is not something that is practised at Envista

I am part of management in the Toronto office and fully support forums such as this which offer employees the opportunity to share their employment experience with others. We take these comments seriously, regardless of the forum they are generated in, and are proactive in ensuring that the way we treat our employees here in Toronto is with respect, honesty and fairness. The respondent's comments absolutely do not reflect the culture and values that we support and foster here at Envista or how well our employees do their jobs. We encourage honest feedback from all staff, regardless of level or seniority and treat everyone with the decency and respect we all want for ourselves and those closest to us. Our strong client support around the globe, from basic cases to the most complex losses, is a very strong testament to how well all employees perform their respective roles from operations staff to highly technical consultants.

Poor Management Decisions

Pros

Although the pros are becoming few and far between, the merger with LWG has been less than exciting. Prior to this merger, we were managed well with little in our way to keep us from providing excellent services. Bonus pay was good with hard work, which has decreased over time, local work is nice, less travel outside your area.

Cons

Management has decided to follow the LWG way of things, last minute travel to high profile jobs to satisfy the egos of the CEO and his upper management buddies. Promotions are a joke if you are an engineer, little pay increase for increased job responsibilities. The focus has been more on getting trained engineers to become sales staff, rewarding marketing meetings while good work on actual engineering jobs goes un-noticed. Work from home has been going by the wayside, only now hiring individuals that are willing to sit at a desk at some other location.
