Pros

Independence, multiple clients, marketing support, continual industry training, and pay. Pay is based on billable hours.

Cons

Working from home for tech jobs is hard to find now, so you will likely need to travel to where your next client is. If you get a work-from-home client (significantly more than one)—do not let them go. There is going to be a ramp-up period for each project, and sometimes for new use cases, so be prepared to work a lot. You have to be on top of your game at all times, and you have to be willing to research to do so. You cannot rely on the company to hand you clients; you must win the contracts. You will not be paid off the project; you will be paid federal minimum wage during training; you just move to Atlanta and live with strangers for about 3-4 months in company apartment housing (there are a few houses if you are lucky).

Terrible company

Business outlook

Pros

They provided health care and minimum wage (around $8/hr maybe) when you were on the bench (without a project).

Cons

Can get into this company with a simple interview and some coding challenges. Most of the employees are foreigners who need work visas. A month of training is provided, but the quality is terrible and the teaching content cannot help people improve any skill at all. It is better to self-study and take online courses. They will then help you write your resume, and make you “become” an engineer with more than 10 years of work experience in a short time (that is, they ask you to lie).
