Pros

Started out as a field tech and left as a VP. Definitely had room to grow there. Learned everything from access control to infant abduction systems.

Cons

At times the culture could be a bit toxic. I do believe this was more the nature of this industry than the people however on the road as a tech, you rarely had to come face to face with that.

Pros

- Good People - Clean workplace - Ok location - Free Coffee & snacks - Has fun events - Clean desks - Learn new things about Fire Systems.

Cons

- Bad management in the SOC - Can be a bit loud in the SOC people will just hang out like it's a living room and just talk. This is the most annoying thing about ESS.. - People are running around like they have no heads - Slow problem handling/issues do not get resolved promptly. - Staff who are abusive - I know about 3 people who have been bullied by this person. And management has yet to do anything we all have complained about it. - Slow to get back to questions - this is unfair for a lot of us in the SOC including the night shifts as they don't get information as much as I do on the days... - Slow to give instructions see above.
