      As a sales director, you interact with people around the entire world.

      Cons

      Low pay. No commission. Poor bonus (if any). No advancement. Management plays favorites. And senior management really does not like sales people.

      Lower salary for the area the company is not replacing people who leave and the workload per person is increasing.

      Small business unit that covers the entire world. A fair amount international travel (~25-30%). Business class has been reinstated. 4 day work week (4 ten hour days).

      Cons

      Heavily centralized decision making process. Little delegation of authority to sales team. Pay structure below industry standards.
