Pros
The idea of the company and the product innovation is so inspiring and I really hope we can fight climate change faster. This mission is a great motivator when getting stressed out about my job and I try to keep going because I know I am working for a good impact on the world It is very independent management style, no one will micro-manage you because everyone is so busy trying to get things done with such limited resources. If you are young professional, you will get tons of work experience but at the same time unfortunately not learn good practices as the company is in the process of evolving from a startup to a serious company, therefore there is lots of mess and misalignment. Since we are growing so much, there's lots of room to develop your career and any area of interest.
Cons
Compared to other job experiences, it is very unprofessional. Since we're struggling on financing, there have been lots of situations in where some of the requests are not okay. Management and their competency have a long way to go! We had a new CEO added who has a very impressive proven success on companies. There was hope, now for a while it is clear everything remains the same on management style. There are absolutely no work benefits, no performance bonuses, no trainings for career development, they promised Stock Options that so far nothing happens. Unfortunately praise is not a thing at Enapter. I have never heard anyone from management say "Thank you" or "great job" when great accomplishments get done by the team. There's an Assembly where people present good news but management has not actively created a culture where people say thank you for your hard work and where hard work gets recognized.
