Pros
A brand with a lot of potential and a beautiful message to its mission – unfortunately, it lacks the support and growth of the CEO. If you are a self-starter, you can learn a lot (on your own). Comped /discounted services each month to try out their products/treatments (don't expect to fully enjoy them in zen as you will be emailed back to back but ignored when you reach out on your end).
Cons
I wish I had researched thoroughly and read previous reviews before taking this job. Despite a willingness to grow with the company, there was constant gaslighting and disrespect from the CEO. Poor communication, high turnover rate, lack of structure, and constant follow-ups for approvals and reviews without ever getting proper constructive feedback. The CEO loves to use "we are a start-up" to excuse her poor direction and justify her lack of work, expecting you to be a mind reader and later hear you don't understand the brand/goals when you take initiative/request for better planning. No matter how articulate you are, your words will be twisted to benefit hers. You're the one who 'miscommunicated,' not her. Regardless of your efforts and successful wins in improving their digital channels, you will be demeaned for your work ethic and talent. Expect to be yelled at for not replying immediately when you're on PTO/OOO and be told you aren't a good fit for the company when you ask for a title change from associate to manager.
