At my experience I play the roles of Team Lead Project Manager and an Architect based on the project I am in and can deal with Customers directly. I have no hierarchies that would stop from growing. Only performance is the criteria. Encouraging leadership in all levels with necessary guidance and support when required directly or remotely.
