Pros

food is free no dress-code culture

Cons

Number of leaves per year and the leave policies are weird and it is a loose-loose situation for the employee School type management by HR guys. If you come late someday, that causes them a problem and they say that office discipline should be maintained. And when you work for extra hours, that goes unnoticed ( only for general shift people i.e. 10 to 7 timing ) The female:male ratio is too too less - this is mostly bcoz of the office environment and infrastructure. even after 5 years, the office is like a small temporary setup.

First, I would like to clarify that working late hours is compensated under overtime policy. If you have worked extra hours but it went unnoticed (which is unlikely), please bring it to attention of HR. You are entitled to get leave credits which can be encashed in year end (December). Please take serious note of this. I will check with managers (directly) if they forgot to report anybody's overtime. About coming late, all we ask for is to inform. Today only Naweed is running late and may appear after 2PM. He met an injury in morning. He just informed HR. That's it. Also another rtCamper took last minute leave for medical reason in morning. No fuss was made about it. When people work late night, their project managers inform HR about the same and then HR expect late-night working rtCampers to show up late. I really don't get coming late point. Because few rtCampers requested change in timing for reason like bus-timing, housemaid comes late, etc and they got approval. So if you are not happy about your work timing, its better to talk to HR. Problems can be fixed only after they brought to attention. About leaves, only policy that most people don't like is "sandwitch rule". There were instances in past when some rtCampers who were going on month-long leave, applied for monday-friday leaves for 4-weeks! Net effect, they did not came for work a single day in month but received salary for 8 days (4 saturday and 4 sunday). After that kind of abuse by few more people, "sandwitch rule" was implemented. I agree that office feels more like startups but thats the way we want to run it always. Thats the reason we choose NOT to shift in IT Park but looking for an open plot to built our own home-like-office. rtCamp is more about rtFamily so personal touch is more important than unnecessary corporate protocols. That's the reason, I am replying to everyone here and not asking. That is the reason, I invited everyone to send feedback via Glassdoor as I wanted to directly interact with every rtCamper. Please feel free to respond here or directly talk to HR/me. I am always here for all rtCampers.

Pros

- Mid-range Salary. Like around 15,000-30,000/year - Remote work

Cons

The company is completely service-based, which means client gives projects to them, and they resell them by getting them done by us. A HUGE RED FLAG If you are coming from a product-based company, there is going to be a very HUGE difference. They are so proud of themselves that working with clients and having no in-house product excites them. I was hired as a Software Engineer, and I am now literally designing pages with Elementor. :/ You HAVE to complete 8 hours daily, add time entries, and get them approved. Oh yeah, Break is not included in those 8 hours, it's outside. So essentially it's 9 hours. Also, Team meetings don't count towards it. There are literally project tasks in EverHour, and you need to add a time entry of 8 hours there. There is no place for you to log any hours for meetings, etc. 8 hours means, full 8 hours of actual work, nothing else. No idea about others, but I feel like working in a prison might have been better than this. If you are not based in the INDIA timezone, you are BUSTED. You have to overlap hours for them until your PM or manager is happy. This means whenever they schedule a meeting, you have to be there, no matter what. Best place to make your work-life balance hell. If anytime you do something wrong, you are OBLIGED to hear harsh words from your PM. By something wrong I mean, I remember forgetting to do a 5-minute client task. The client meeting was 8 hours later. It was a hectic day, and I said I am sorry that I forgot those small tasks. I am doing it the right way. The manager was like "THIS IS NOT OKAY", "HOW ARE GONNA THINGS WORK IF YOU DO LIKE THIS?", "WHAT WILL I SAY TO THE CLIENT?" etc. Remember, the client meeting was 8 hours away lol, and it was a 5 mins task.
