Pros
The environment was positive. I was able to do groups with the clients and interact with them on site, gaining all of my hours for grad school. I felt very supported by the director and the therapists on site. I am now in private practice and I know how complex it is to run a business. The therapeutic and working relationships I was able to experience taught me a lot and I am on this site because I am looking at informational interviews by networking and reaching out to relationships I have already established. I always held Cosette and Dr. Cash in high regard.
Cons
A residential treatment facility is demanding work. It takes a lot of passion, self determination and self work to be able to be successful. This work is often triggering and one must have their own therapist to work through issues.
