Pros
Remote work flexibility. The company also offered good learning opportunities and encouraged certifications during my early years. Unfortunately, very few of those positives remain today.
Cons
The culture has changed significantly over time. Politics and favoritism often seem to outweigh merit, and promotions and opportunities are not always based on performance. Project allocations frequently overlook employees' skills, experience, and career aspirations. Leadership talks about psychological safety and community, but the reality doesn't always reflect those values. The most disappointing part was my notice period—after years of loyalty and contribution as one of the early Data Engineers, it felt like employees were treated as replaceable resources rather than valued team members.
