Excessive micromanagement, a lack of trust in employees, and a leadership style that often felt controlling. Decisions were frequently influenced by personal relationships rather than merit, raising concerns about fairness. Communication from senior leadership was at times unprofessional, including instances of shouting, inappropriate language, and disrespectful treatment of staff. My many years of professional experience, I have rarely encountered a workplace culture that left me feeling as undervalued or disrespected as an employee. One bad apple can have a disproportionate impact on the culture of an entire organization.
