Pros

The store is beautiful. The sales associates are actually stockers most of the time. They don't really interact with the customers and push for sales. The associates work very hard to make the store beautiful. They are always rearranging the look to make the merchandise look fresh and new.

Cons

The store should push for sales. Have the associates interact with the customers and talk about the products. Have two cashiers during peak periods to upsell and make sure the check out process is smooth. Having the store as all Self Check might be a mistake. Many customers actually like having a cashier. They are not tech savvy and they don't want to ring up their own purchases. They struggle with the glitches in the computer system and the card reader doesn't work very well. They just want to buy their stuff and leave.

Pros

Salary isn’t terrible, your peers are helpful and available for problem solving. Benefits are there, nothing to speak highly on, 3 holidays they recognize for paid holiday. But they do offer benefits to FT employees. No sick accumulation pto days tho. Can be a very fun and interesting job. It’s a very clean and inviting store to come into.

Cons

Tasks are hard to stay on top of and complete with in a timely manner. Trucks are heavy with product and have no locations. finding employees to work part time and be productive is difficult at times. Older products are never usually marked down to sell through so it’s always building up in the stock room. Someone calls in there’s not a lot of employees (2 FT and 3 PT total) you are always required to stay if there’s no one to cover. They don’t pay much over minimum wage for entry level positions, finding the perfect fit with the right qualifications for that amount of money, is a full time job itself. No OT is ever allowed for store coverage. Heavily loaded with POG changes and seasonal change overs are becoming more often than not anymore. They allow extra hours to help with completing. Usually just enough to work your other tasks and just get started good on change overs before they drop another few.
