Pros

The company cares about their people. They have innovative products. The role is not micro-managed.

Cons

The pay level offered is not changed for higher COL areas. Salary bumps are small - 3% and hard to fight for.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and provide positive comments regarding how we care for our people - that means a lot! We are pleased that you had a good experience working at nVent and had the flexibility to do what you needed to do to be successful. It is unfortunate that your salary expectations weren’t met, and we understand the frustration that happens as a result. Compensation packages are regularly reviewed, and we use market guidelines to attempt to remain competitive - but there are times when we don't make a perfect match. We'll consider your comments as we work to make additional improvements to support our employees. We're grateful for the 5 years you spent with us and wish you well with your future career endeavors!

Pros

I had a great onboarding experience - my manager was very prepared with a clear and useful onboarding plan. The people have been very welcoming and the company culture is great.

Cons

The company is growing rapidly, which presents natural challenges - but the overall experience has been very positive.

Pros

Great place to work. Very considerate of actual career and life experience rather than focusing on having a degree. Management really cares about your success personally and professionally. Top-notch focus on career development. Cohesive, cooperative teams. Fair base pay for experience, good health benefits, and decent flexibility.

Cons

Your experience will be deeply influenced by which location you work at and position you work in. The company has a good framework for inclusion but in reality there are unchecked local employees who make it very uncomfortable if you can't pass for right wing. Raises are inconsistent and don't seem to be determined by performance ratings. Despite having a good review every cycle, I haven't seen so much as a cost of living adjustment post - promotion.
