Pros
I liked the mission of the company. My direct manager was professional and very dedicated. It was challenging due to the its b2b nature and getting to convince teachers with the platform.
Cons
The CEO does not give much autonomy to the employees and usually discards their work completely if he doesn't like it. He is also not a great feedback provider. Management also did not provide enough support in terms of marketing content. I was expected to work overtime most of the time without getting paid for it at all. Finally, I was laid off right after my probation period without being given proper notice. I later discovered that its a pattern they follow with a lot of hires: they hire people, get what they need from them during the probation period and let them go right after.
