Pros
Quality experience, knowledgeable leadership, an excellent exposure to VP/MD team members. Also an opportunity to see what ECM, DCM and M&A really is about gaining a much broader experience than what big investment banks have to offer.
Cons
Promotion to a full-time position seems rather unlikely, M&A is a very much mid-cap focused business, relatively low exposure to financial modelling and valuation.
