Pros

I had a great manager, but they got the push too and their manager did too! Mileage was okay Pay was average I was allowed to get on with my job and deliver

Cons

So the bean counters at Lloyds of London decided that this company needed to save money and thus need to ditch staff. Unfortunately a batch of new staff who were on a 6 probation period were terminated on the same day as per the clause in their contract as they were 5 months in. No consultation, or thank you, just a short sharp kick out the door. Some even by telephone and not even their line manager. I think Learndirect has a rocky future awaiting the result of the OFSTED report and I feel for the front line staff, where weak management at the top level of this company is to blame

Pros

Flexible work - errr I can’t think of anything else.

Cons

They don’t pay your invoices. • Freelance assessors are expected to complete work in good faith but payments are frequently delayed. • Outstanding invoices can remain unpaid for weeks or months, creating significant financial uncertainty for freelancers. • The Head of Department openly acknowledged that payment problems have happened before and can take months to resolve • Freelancers appear to be treated as an afterthought. When payments are missed, communication from senior leadership is either extremely limited or non-existent, leaving assessors chasing answers and feeling undervalued.

Pros

Flexible work which I thought would be great to top up my income.

Cons

Constant issues paying on time I'm currently owed £1200 for work I completed 2 months ago - Senior leaders ignore all emails from associates regarding payment - makes you feel undervalued and that the Directors are too important to ensure freelance staff are paid.
