Dear 'former, anonymous employee'; it’s a shame we had to terminate your employment. As it relates to some of your points, we have several people in the company that work from home, either occasionally or full time. Also, you were probably with us long enough to know we welcome criticism and everyone from the CEO down is open to be persuaded with facts, data, or other evidence that a view they hold is worthy of a challenge. If by ‘legacy technologies’ you mean the same ones used by Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and Wikipedia then yes, we use ‘legacy technologies’. We only use rigorously tested, proven software and hardware to protect our customers’ privacy and security, which unfortunately for developers means not getting to use all the newest released versions due to possible vulnerabilities. Any time an employee doesn’t work out, we look in the mirror and try to figure out what we could have done differently or better. We hope you take the time to reflect and do the same.
