Pros
-This is a great job for anyone who thinks they would enjoy sales and customer service related to a unique travel experience in Cuba. -The Cuba travel business has experienced a lot of exciting changes over the past few years due to change in government regulations between the U.S. and Cuba. The frequent changes were a pro for me as I enjoyed being kept on my toes and having priorities shift frequently. -I loved working with my fellow travel specialists as we all got along very well, had fun, and worked great as a team. -I enjoyed speaking with guests before they left for Cuba as well hearing about their experiences after they returned home as this is the type of trip that many people have had on their travel bucket list for many years. -The travel specialist position was a great way to get my foot in the door and learn a ton about Cuba and the company. After almost two-years of working as a travel specialist, I was able to advance my career with the company. -There is a lot of room for growth at this time with the company and with Cuba related travel and business in general.
Cons
-As with most sales positions, if you don't naturally have the energy for it, it can sometimes get tiring to be on the phone for several hours throughout the day.
