Pros
The coworkers are the best part of TideSmart. The eco-friendly campus is cool--although once inside, many of their business practices are not consistent with this facade.
Cons
The downside? I have been watching the reviews on glassdoor for a while. I am going to be careful with my wording, because I KNOW the company works very hard to have bad reviews removed, so therefore, I must be careful not to say anything for which they would find a reason for glassdoor to remove the review...when I was there, there were closed door meetings as soon as a bad review would go up...leadership would walk around saying, "Oh yes, we know who wrote that" to put fear into employees to keep them from writing reviews. Leadership would become so frustrated that they couldn't just order glassdoor to remove the bad review (although I recently saw a review entitled "truth 2" that mysteriously disappeared). So now, reviews are going up to imply that ALL THE PEOPLE, and there have been so many, who were fired (good, hard working people) had problems...they couldn't cut it...didn't want to work hard enough. That could not be further from the truth for the vast majority. I watched family people lose their jobs right at the holidays...coming into empty desks...it was all just sad, the environment was so toxic. I just have to speak up--this site is supposed to give employees a voice to share with prospective employees. When I was there, I was pressured to write a good review. I did not do so, even though it was early in my tenure, before I saw all the destruction. I felt terribly uncomfortable that I did not write the good review, and I worried about my job security for sticking to my principles.
