Pros
Edyn is going through a much-needed transformation. For too long, the business was shaped by inconsistent leadership and a culture of entitlement. Decision-making lacked clarity, performance standards were uneven, and too much focus was placed on being liked rather than leading effectively. Since the arrival of the new CEO and CPO, there’s been a clear shift toward accountability, integrity, and long-term sustainability. Leadership is now focused on building a profitable, values-led business that can scale. While the cultural reset hasn’t been easy, it's helping to strip away politics and favouritism in favour of fairness, structure, and transparency. The CPO, in particular, has brought discipline and backbone to the people function—modernising outdated practices and raising the bar on leadership behaviour and consistency across the business. The CEO is decisive and commercially focused, giving Edyn the clarity it’s long needed.
Cons
Cons: Not everyone will agree with the new direction, especially those who thrived in the old, less structured environment. The transition can feel abrupt at times, but it’s necessary and overdue.
