LONG hours, sometimes you may be called off your standby having just done a delayed 13 hour duty the day before.
Not allowed to book time off around christmas or new year, you can request unpaid leave but its uncertain whether you will get it.
New Cabin Crew members in their first year are not able to book their own annual leave.. it is allocated to you HOWEVER you do have 4 'guaranteed days off' which you can book each month which is what I used to go on holiday in my first year.
The uncertainty of your working life from one week to the next but this is probably the same no matter what airline as your roster is published every 6 weeks.
Holiday pay is a third of the amount you get deducted from your salary for sick pay, we argued that holiday pay should be the same as the amount you have deducted for sick pay!!
Some older crew members can be patronising to the newer cabin crew members as they prefer the people they have worked with for a long time, it is almost like they are looking for you to make a mistake so they can suggest a way to improve to be patronising and show their knowledge... however generally not too many were like this.
