Pros
The work is well defined and easy to complete. Teams seem to work well together, overall. Direct leadership is resourceful, helpful and easy to work with.
Cons
The company makes self-governance nearly impossible; an employee’s every move is tracked by at least two systems, by their supervisor and then mandatorily tracked by the employee themselves. The work becomes robotic and monotonous very quickly. Layoffs are abundant and disorganized. Wages are reasonable at first but do not parallel with the economy or tenure. The company boasts about offering extensive PTO but it barely meets the industry standard. They do not offer maternity leave and are very strict with time off approvals. Growth opportunity seems absent entirely. This is a bearable job, but a completely undesirable career.
