Pros
I've worked with this company for many years and have seen the company grow from a dozen to over two hundred employees. The main strength has always been the people. Key directors have inspired the staff with their vision, enthusiasm and open attitude and this has created working environments which have been a pleasure to work in. There have been "growing pains" along the way and sometimes employees have been impatient for changes to come through but they have always worked to improve matters. The UL acquisition has been a very positive change and as the title suggests I think there is no better time to join the company. The working environment is open and sociable as always but we have better working processes and structures, particularly in the development teams.
Cons
Recruitment is never easy and this can cause emotions to run high. This company knows that people are key to it's success so if the fit isn't right and things don't work out they won't keep people on for the sake of it. Some people may be alarmed when a new employee doesn't make it past the end of their probation period but other employees find it reassuring.
