Sadly looks to be on a Slippery Slope - Anonymous employee brightsolid Employee Review

A lot of much needed change happening at brightsolid. A revitalisd and reinvigorated management team concentrating on the market and much needed improvements. There have been significant tangible changes in fairness of salary and in responsibility and accountability. Much needed investment in the office environment and in resources, such as external consultants, to support the internal people. Inspirational new CEO with lots of new ideas and a determination to succeed that will mean that brightsolid will quickly be able to take benefit of the huge internal potential in the people within the company

The change has been fast and decisive which has challenged some people and a key member of the Senior Leadership team leaving has left a gap. External consultants coming in has created some doubt and as they have only been in a couple of days the benefots are not yet there. There is a much more business like / open environment where areas where the busines is underperforming issues are being openly discussed. This has been an adjustment for many in the organisation and some have blamed the CEO for the issues as these have been more revealed/ Changes in dress code have been minimal (eg a request to wear a collared top) but have created some divisions

When I joined BrightSolid it was an extremely happy company. It had issues, the same as any workplace, but generally speaking everyone appeared to be happy to be there and worked in a positive and coordinated manner. After a significant ‘reign of terror,’ by what I can only describe as a superficial, self-obsessed, vein-glorious 1980’s throwback, the company now appears to be returning to its original strengths. I no longer work for the company. I had to make a decision and felt that I could not entrust my career to the actions or graces of someone who I felt cared more about how her photos looked on the website and shades of white paint for the walls than she did for me, the job I was doing or indeed the company at large. As long as the former CEO and her appointed acolytes are no longer involved, then I firmly recommend this company to both work with and for
